AgencyTrack

Financial product • Build

I run a design practice in Serbia on the paušal tax model, where crossing a turnover threshold changes how the whole business is taxed. I was tracking it in a spreadsheet that turned out to have five errors in it. So I designed and built AgencyTrack end to end: invoicing, multi-currency payments with exchange rates locked at issue date, and live threshold tracking that shows the tax impact of a payment before you accept it. I prototyped it with Claude Code and now use it to run my own finances.

The most important call was what I took out of it.

The platform was built by engineers and functioned. UX had never been a priority. I was brought in to design a native mobile experience for iOS and Android, then later to improve the web platform. The core problem was navigation and IA that didn't translate to mobile behaviour. I redesigned the information hierarchy into four levels suited to how learners actually move through content, introduced a bottom tab bar, persistent progress indicators, and a personal dashboard. The handoff was clean, the build followed the designs closely, and the client has continued to bring me back for subsequent work.

The result was a consistent visual language, faster implementation, and an architecture that went on to shape the system behind 10+ websites in multiple markets and languages.

But listing pages were overloaded with repeated card patterns and visible sponsored placements, which users actively avoided. We redesigned the information architecture to lead users more directly to review pages, where they could make informed decisions. Navigation, search, and filtering were simplified across the board. The outcome was a measurable shift in click behaviour, with the majority of clicks now flowing through reviews rather than listings. Mobile traffic grew 20% and user retention grew 15%.

Building Teams That Ship

I’ve led distributed teams across two locations with mixed seniority and parallel workstreams. I define standards, create clarity, and build the frameworks that let teams work without constant escalation. At Catena Media I introduced Figma, rebuilt the handover process, and developed a mobile-first, locale-optimised design system that became the foundation for 10+ websites across multiple markets. Teams ran on quarterly plans, bi-weekly critiques, and lead-owned execution. Decisions were made traceable through centralised documentation.
